According to Urmson, they have met Ford and other automakers like General motors, Volkswagen, Toyots and many other similar companies who are experts in building cars as Google is really interested to put their footstep in the car sharing business and it will really be arrogant to say that we are the best and can do this better way without the help of others. Google has hired John Krafcik, the former Ford and Hyundai Executive in September and appointed him as the CEO of Google’s self driving car project. Alan Mulally, the former Ford CEO is also been hired by Google to appoint him in board of director’s of Google.

Mark Fields from Ford has confirmed that their request is granted required to test the autonomous vehicles in California. Mcity is a city created at the campus of Michigan University that is perceived as the safe place to place the cars through repeated paces and Ford is the first automaker to test the autonomous cars in this Mcity. This is the ultimate place to test driverless cars in every season and condition due to the available ideal settings.
