Google Maps Night Mode: Now on iOS Application

The “Night Mode” feature of the Google Maps allows users to navigate the map when it is dark outside. The feature is already live on Android version and now it is live on the iOS application. This is just a minor feature release from Google but it provides a safer and more efficient option for millions of drivers who are using the Google Maps application instead of the in-dash navigation system.

The main purpose of this Google Maps Night Mode is to improve your night version. Your eyes will no longer have the hard time adjusting to the bright display of your navigation system and the dark road ahead. With the new night mode feature, you can automatically switch for a darker display during night time – no need to switch the application’s setting to on and off.

Aside from the latest update, there are also other interesting features included. Places are labeled to appear on the map and on the search suggestions, which gives a more personalized experience. Lastly, users can edit the captions of the photos uploaded to Google Maps.

If you want to enjoy and test this new feature by yourself, update the Google Maps application to the latest version.
