The Korean tech firm Samsung always surprises the world by introducing some amazing new features to its high-end Smartphones. However, the new Smartphone which will be joining the flagship of Samsung’s ‘Galaxy s’ series does not seem to have any new surprising feature. The famous benchmark app Antutu has leaked the specifications of the upcoming Smartphone Galaxy S7 through a post on a Chinese social media website Weibo.
Samsung recently carried out a benchmark test of this upcoming Smartphone on Antutu, which revealed some of its important specifications. The device will run on Exynos 8890 processor and will have a 5.1-inch display with an amazing resolution of 2560 X1440 Pixels. It will also pack in massive 4-Gigabytes of ram along with 64- Gigabytes of storage, though it is not yet confirmed that if this will be the baseline storage of the variant. In the camera department, you will be seeing a 12-mega pixel back camera and 5-mega pixel front facing camera.
The specifications are very much similar to that of Galaxy S7 Edge that were also leaked by Antutu earlier this month. The disappointing thing for many spectators might be the 12-mega pixels camera, which is even less than its predecessor Galaxy S6 that supported a 16-mega pixels camera. However, a report from Phone arena, which published in November, stated that Samsung might focus on new camera strategy under which it may introduce cameras having large sensors and less mega pixels. Thus, the camera of Galaxy S7 will be definitely better and will capture crisp and clear images.
Samsung will launch the Smartphone at Mobile World Congress that will take place in the upcoming month. The Company can still surprise its followers with some new features, which the benchmark test has not yet spotted.
