Jill Valentine Returns: A Crossover Between Resident Evil and Goddess Of Victory by Stellar Blade Developers!

Goddess of Victory: Nikke is set to welcome a legendary character from the Resident Evil franchise—Jill Valentine. This exciting crossover was announced during Gamescom, where the developer Shift Up revealed that Jill, one of the most recognizable heroines in video game history, would join the ranks of characters in this popular mobile and PC RPG gallery shooter.

The initial teaser of the collaboration hints at a dark narrative involving a cult engaged in a gruesome ritual, with glimpses of Goddess of Victory’s character Poli in a tense scene. Although Jill’s inclusion wasn’t disclosed in the first trailer, it has since been confirmed by Shift Up, raising expectations for what is to come.

Moreover, there’s speculation that Jill might not be the only Resident Evil character featured in this collaboration, with more details about the story and launch date yet to be revealed. This isn’t the first time Goddess of Victory has partnered with other franchises, having previously included characters from various universes like Evangelion and Nier: Automata.

As for the Resident Evil saga, Capcom is gearing up to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the original game next year. While Jill may not appear in the upcoming Resident Evil game, Resident Evil: Requiem, which has a new heroine named Grace Ashcroft, the anticipation continues for fan-favorite moments and character appearances. The game is slated for release on February 27, 2026, and a new Resident Evil movie directed by Zach Cregger is set to hit theaters on September 18, 2026.
