The Baltimore Ravens are struggling this NFL season with a disappointing record of 1-5. To address this issue, the coaching staff has decided to remove distractions from the locker room in hopes of helping the players refocus. Key leisure items like video games, cornhole boards, a ping pong table, and a basketball hoop have been taken down temporarily.
According to a report from The Baltimore Sun, many players enjoyed playing games like Super Smash Bros. in the locker room, often gathering in groups to challenge each other and have fun. However, the coaching staff felt that these activities contributed to a lack of focus, prompting the decision to eliminate such distractions.
The move came after the Ravens started the season 1-3, followed by two additional losses. Center Tyler Linderbaum acknowledged the team’s difficult situation, noting, "The only worse thing is 0-6, so yes, it’s a big hole. We’re going to have to bounce back. We have 11 games left to try to run the table."
The Ravens will look to turn their fortunes around in their next game on Sunday, October 26, where they will face off against the 4-2 Chicago Bears.
