LogicMonitor has successfully finalized its acquisition of Catchpoint for over $250 million, merging their observability and internet monitoring capabilities. This partnership aims to tackle the growing complexities of AI infrastructure and distributed workloads that many enterprises face.
Christina Kosmowski, CEO of LogicMonitor, emphasized the need for a unified solution in light of the numerous disjointed tools IT teams currently utilize. She stated, “Until now, IT teams have been juggling point tools that promise insight but deliver noise. Together with Catchpoint, we are giving customers the power to predict issues, prevent downtime, and finally make their systems as smart as the people who run them.”
The collaboration combines LogicMonitor’s observability platform with Catchpoint’s extensive internet performance monitoring expertise, capitalizing on data from a diverse range of global vantage points. Once fully integrated, Catchpoint’s synthetic monitoring and real-user monitoring will merge with LogicMonitor’s Edwin AI intelligence engine, facilitating a transition from reactive monitoring to predictive issue detection and automated remediation.
Catchpoint’s co-founder and CEO, Mehdi Daoudi, highlighted the potential for broader operational impact, stating, “Now, as part of LogicMonitor, we can do it on a global scale and redefine what performance means in the AI era.” The integrated solution promises to provide enterprises with comprehensive monitoring across infrastructure, the internet, and user experience—all within a single platform. It addresses critical IT challenges including downtime, excessive tool complexity, and difficulties in correlating data across multiple systems, particularly as organizations advance their AI initiatives.
The acquisition was completed following standard regulatory approvals, positioning the combined entity to significantly enhance observability solutions for its customers.
