Final Fantasy 7 Remake Introduces Ridiculously Easy Mode for Switch 2 and Xbox Series X|S Users

After a long exclusive run on PlayStation, Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade is set to launch on Xbox Series X|S and Switch 2 in early 2026. This enhanced version of the classic RPG offers a fresh experience for players, especially those who may find the game’s usual difficulty daunting. With the new "Streamlined Progression" mode, players can enjoy the story without worrying about combat, as this feature allows unlimited MP and HP, maximum item capacity, and significant damage boosts during battles.

Players can toggle this easy mode on and off anytime, making it accessible for those who want to savor the narrative without the usual challenges. In addition to this feature, Square Enix is launching preorder bonuses for the game: digital editions will include the original Final Fantasy 7 game, while physical copies will come with a Magic: The Gathering play booster pack.

Furthermore, it’s been confirmed that Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth will eventually come to the Switch 2 and Xbox Series X|S, though a release date has yet to be announced. For those eager for more JRPG content, upcoming titles such as Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles and Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake are also on the horizon.
