Exciting News: Panzer Dragoon 2 Zwei Remake’s Release Date Might Be Just Around the Corner!

A remake of the classic game Panzer Dragoon 2 Zwei is set to be unveiled soon, with its public debut scheduled for September 25-28 at the Tokyo Game Show 2025. This announcement comes from Forever Entertainment in collaboration with developers MegaPixel Studio and Storm Trident.

Originally released in 1996 on the Sega Saturn, Panzer Dragoon 2 Zwei serves as a prequel to the first installment. The game allows players to take on the role of Jaen Jaqeue Lundi, a character who raises and trains a dragon named Lagi. In this rail shooter, players navigate through various environments riding Lagi, engaging in battles against numerous enemies while uncovering the secrets of ancient civilizations.

The Zwei remake promises to retain the core gameplay but includes modern enhancements such as branching routes and an evolving ability system for Lagi, which adapts based on how players perform. It will also introduce a berserk attack option and mission variants available after completing the main story. Players can choose between classic and modern control schemes, and the remake will feature improved graphics alongside a remastered soundtrack along with the original score.

The remake will be available on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5, though an exact release date has yet to be confirmed.
