Fortnite has kicked off its latest Winterfest celebration for 2025, bringing a host of exciting map changes and an abundance of rewards to be claimed. This event introduces new gameplay elements and multiple quests designed to engage players in the festive season.
As of December 20, only the initial two sets of Winterfest quests are available for players. Here’s a preview of what’s in store:
Winterfest 2025 Quests Overview
The Winterfest quests are categorized into different groups that will be released at staggered intervals. Each completed quest awards players 12K XP, with more rewards anticipated by the end of the questline. However, these quests will only be accessible until Winterfest concludes on January 5.
Drop 1 – Gift to the Stars:
- Collect a Perfect Gift from a chest: Open any chest during Winterfest to find a Perfect Gift, which activates a quest to deliver it to a friendly NPC within five minutes.
- Bring a Perfect Gift to any character: Deliver your collected Perfect Gift to any NPC of your choice.
- Damage Yule Trooper or any other boss (500 points): Inflict 500 points of damage to any specific boss NPC. Player-boss disguises do not count for this quest.
Drop 2 – Passion for Presents:
- Bring a Perfect Gift to The Bride, Carter Wu, or Kingston: Similar to the previous set, but this time you need to deliver a gift to one of these designated NPCs.
- Travel 60 distance with Icy Feet: Use the Icy Feet movement item to glide across the map for a short distance.
- Search 5 chests at Clawsy Lodge or Tiptop Terrace: Players must locate and open five chests at these specific locations; ammo and veggie boxes do not qualify.
Additional Squad Up! Quests
Alongside the main Winterfest quests, players can also complete a more straightforward set of challenges within the Squads version of Battle Royale. These involve collecting Shiny Llamas, which can appear randomly from opening rare chests or defeating NPCs and players. Each 100 Shiny Llamas collected grants an additional 12K XP, with contributions from all squad members counting towards the total. A special cosmetic reward, the Starbrite Slasher pickaxe, can be obtained after collecting 400 Shiny Llamas.
This year’s Winterfest not only enhances the usual game experience with fun holiday-themed quests but also offers exclusive rewards that players will want to aim for as the event unfolds.
