Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree – Books of Knowledge, Volume 3
Preorders for the official Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree strategy guide are available for $34.74 (originally $45) on Amazon. Initially scheduled for a September 30 release, the book has been quietly rescheduled to October 31. This hardcover edition is the third volume in the highly regarded Books of Knowledge series by Future Press. If you’re thinking of adding this title to your collection, we highly recommend preordering since it may not be easily accessible after its launch. The first two volumes, Volume 1 and Volume 2, have been sold out for some time, and it’s uncertain whether they will be reprinted. Currently, the only way to purchase the first two volumes is through resellers in either new or used condition.
We gathered every official Elden Ring book you can buy in one place on Amazon
The guide for Shadow of the Erdtree is coming right after the release of the extensive 744-page Bloodborne Complete Guide, which Future Press published on October 15, and is now available at Amazon for $54 (was $60).
In positive developments, both official Elden Ring Art Books have been replenished on Amazon and are currently available at significant discounts. Elden Ring: Official Art Book Volume I provides an extensive exploration of The Lands Between’s vast open world, featuring dungeons, main characters, NPCs, and armor. On the other hand, Elden Ring: Official Art Book Volume II concentrates on the formidable bosses and various enemies you face, along with a diverse selection of weapons at your disposal. Together, these two hardcover editions feature over 800 pages filled with breathtaking artwork and rich lore. Both volumes can be purchased collectively for about $77, a noteworthy reduction from their total value of $120.
Thanks to Amazon’s preorder guarantee, you will benefit from the lowest price available from the time of order until your book is dispatched. Therefore, if you’ve already preordered at the full price, there’s no need for further action: Amazon will automatically adjust your order to reflect the best price, and payment won’t be taken until the book is shipped.
Similar to the earlier books in the lineup, this 352-page volume serves as both a gameplay guide and a detailed art book that all fans should consider exploring. It features comprehensive analyses of the expansion’s new characters and quest narratives, along with complete walkthroughs of new bosses, enemies, dungeons, and regions to explore. The book is also rich in artwork, showcasing fresh concept art and full-page illustrations of landscapes, characters, weapons, and more.
Additionally, Elden Ring has an official manga titled The Road to the Erdtree. If you’re interested in reading a dark and serious manga set in The Lands Between, this is not it. The Road to Erdtree offers a comedic take, and the writing is surprisingly well-crafted. It is certainly worth a look for any Elden Ring fans. While you don’t need to have finished the game to appreciate the manga, having prior knowledge certainly enhances the overall enjoyment.
This year, Future Press has been actively engaged in publishing books that celebrate the universes created by From Software. In honor of its 25th anniversary, the publisher has launched new editions of two of its acclaimed gaming titles: the Bloodborne Complete Guide and the Dark Souls Trilogy Compendium. Released on April 15, the Dark Souls Trilogy Compendium is an impressive 480-page hardcover book that provides an extensive exploration of Dark Souls and its sequels, making it the most thorough resource currently available. Similar to the Elden Ring guides produced by Future Press, both the Bloodborne and Dark Souls publications have been crafted in close collaboration with From Software.

Numerous unofficial strategy guides and lore books created by fans can also be found on Amazon. Unlike these, the Bloodborne Complete Guide, Dark Souls Trilogy Compendium, and the Elden Ring strategy guides are all official publications from From Software. This also includes the art books for Elden Ring, Bloodborne, and Dark Souls published by Udon Entertainment.
The collection of Dark Souls Design Works consists of three volumes, translated and released in English by Udon Entertainment. While the first two volumes remain available on Amazon, the third has been out of stock for quite some time and tends to be expensive when purchased from resellers. If your main interest lies in the artwork rather than the text, you can consider the original Japanese editions by Kadokawa, which are available on Amazon, including Dark Souls III: Design Works, at a significantly lower price compared to the English version:
