Virtua Fighter 5 REVO is set to launch on Steam for the first time on January 27, 2025. With preorders currently available at Fanatical, gamers can take advantage of a significant discount. The standard version is priced at $14 (originally $20), while the 30th Anniversary edition, which includes a wealth of additional content, is available for $35 (down from $50).
Preordering either version rewards players with unique character customization items themed around classic Sega consoles, including the Genesis, Saturn, and Dreamcast.
The upcoming Virtua Fighter 5 REVO will feature rollback netcode, enhancing the online multiplayer experience akin to other modern fighting games like Street Fighter 6. Significant improvements also include support for 4K resolution, updated textures, and balance adjustments across the 19-character roster. Additionally, new modes like 16-player online tournaments and leagues are being introduced.
