Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 Sees Release Pushed Back to October

Paradox Interactive and The Chinese Room have announced that the release of Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 has been delayed to October 2025. In a recent video update, executive producer Marco Behrmann confirmed that the game is complete but emphasized the team’s current focus on fixing bugs, enhancing stability, and improving performance to provide players with an optimal experience.

Behrmann’s announcement highlighted the addition of more content, narrative depth, and character development to the game, including an evolved role for a key character named Fabien. The decision to delay was made to ensure the game meets high standards for player satisfaction.

Originally set to release in early 2025, the game has faced several bumps in its development journey since its reveal in 2019. Paradox shifted from Hardsuit Labs to The Chinese Room as the lead studio, resulting in layoffs at the former studio and nearly leading to the game’s cancellation.

In Bloodlines 2, players will step into the shoes of a customizable elder vampire, navigating a world where romantic relationships with human NPCs can be formed, all while managing the need for blood to survive.
