Minecraft and MLB Join Forces to Create Exciting Baseball-Themed Fan Caves

Minecraft has partnered with Major League Baseball (MLB) to create an exciting new feature called the MLB Fan Cave. This official add-on allows players to craft personalized fan caves in Minecraft, filled with merchandise from all 30 MLB teams.

Earlier this year, we saw the Los Angeles Chargers introducing their 2025-2026 season schedule within Minecraft, highlighting the growing trend of incorporating gaming into various sports. Now, with the MLB Fan Cave, Minecraft players can enhance their in-game living spaces with a selection of team jerseys, banners, trophies, and more. The add-on was developed by Pathway Studios, who recently released a teaser video showcasing these features.

The collaboration comes at a time when Minecraft is experiencing remarkable success, including the release of the highest-grossing film of 2025, A Minecraft Movie, which grossed over $800 million worldwide. Additionally, Jack Black’s song from the film became the shortest ever to chart on Billboard’s Hot 100.

Outside this collaboration, the Minecraft community continues to innovate, with notable projects such as a mod that integrates Minecraft elements into Super Mario 64, as well as new Lego sets themed around Minecraft. Interestingly, the Ape Cognition & Conservation Initiative in Iowa even taught two of its apes to play Minecraft, showcasing the game’s universal appeal.
