Canadian Web Hosting Firm Acquires Mustang Technologies

Web Hosting Canada (WHC) has announced the strategic acquisition of Mustang Technologies for an undisclosed sum of money. Mustang Technologies, based in Montreal, provides cloud solutions, domain services, and web hosting services. Its hosting services include proficiency with Plesk and Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Web Hosting Canada (WHC), established in 2003 and based in Little Italy in Montreal, Quebec, is a well-known Canadian web hosting provider. Catering to over 65,000 customers, it has become a significant player in Canada’s IT sector. Web Hosting Canada offers a comprehensive range of services to meet the needs of Canadian businesses looking to establish and expand their online presence. This includes web hosting, domain registration, website building, and email services.

Founded in 1994 as one of the first companies in Quebec to provide Internet access, Mustang Technologies has earned a reputation for delivering advanced hosting solutions, notably with Plesk and Amazon Web Services (AWS).

This transaction combines WHC’s extensive service portfolio with Mustang’s cutting-edge technology.

With the transaction complete, Web Hosting Canada has granted present Mustang Technologies customers several assurances. WHC, in its blog post, assures a smooth transition and assures uninterrupted service. Despite the changes, WHC emphasizes that operations will continue as usual.

Web Hosting Canada plans to carry out a migration process stated to be smooth over the coming three months to incorporate Mustang Techno’s services into its platform. The company has committed to staying in touch with its customers throughout this period, giving them sufficient notice and comprehensive information about the timeline and migration process.
