The Dog Man graphic novels have been popular since the first volume released in 2016, and the offbeat character is slated to make his big-screen debut next year with the official Dog Man movie. The superhero doesn’t seem content with just one spin-off, however, as he’s getting his own 2D platformer, Dog Man: Mission Impawsible, launching on Switch, PS5, Xbox, and PC later this year.

Dog Man: Mission Impawsible uses an over-the-top, comic-inspired art style to bring the graphic novels to life. You’ll get to explore 50 levels filled with places and faces from the books, swap between Dog Man and his Supa Buddies to take down various bosses, and unlock a utility belt full of gadgets to make it easier to navigate your environment–and all of it looks to be presented with Dog Man’s trademark wacky humor.

There are currently no preorder bonuses for the game, and the Xbox version is not yet listed online, though we’ll update this article when anything new is announced. In the meantime, you can preorder physical copies of the Nintendo Switch and PS5 versions for $40 at Best Buy. The digital preorders are also available on consoles and Steam.

While the Dog Man video game is expected to arrive later this year, we still don’t have a firm release date. Luckily, there are plenty of Dog Man graphic novels to keep you busy. There are even a few box sets available with steep discounts–including Dog Man: The Supa Epic Collection featuring the first six books for $38 (was $78). An even larger collection is available that gets you the first 10 graphic novels for $71 (was $130). Both are incredible deals, so check them out before the price cut disappears.

Additionally, we’ve pulled together discounts on a few Cat Kid and Captain Underpants books, which are written by the same author responsible for Dog Man–Dave Pilkey. These are great companions for Dog Man graphic novels, featuring the same sense of humor and entertaining storylines.
