Although there are several notable weapons in Destiny 2‘s Episode: Revenant, such as Exuviae and Liturgy, the adaptive frame Arc pulse rifle, Vantage Point, obtained from the episode, is also quite commendable. Its optimal configuration makes it a versatile weapon, especially in PvE, and it synergizes effectively with Arc builds designed to inflict Jolt on foes while ensuring you stay Amplified.

Currently, the Revenant weapons can be obtained by engaging in the main feature of the episode, the wave-based Onslaught: Salvation mode. The Revenant firearms, including Vantage Point, are randomly awarded after completing specific waves and claiming reward chests.

The gear obtained from chests is both varied and unpredictable; you may find Vantage Point, but other weapons or armor could surface as well. To enhance your chances of acquiring the desired firearms, utilize Revenant’s Tonics system for “attuning” your rewards. By crafting and employing Enrichment tonics, you can boost the likelihood of specific drops while engaging in Onslaught: Salvation, thereby making it somewhat easier to obtain the weapons and rolls you’re after. Explore our Tonics guide for additional information.

You can also earn a roll of Vantage Point by completing the story quests in Revenant Act 1.

Vantage Point is a valuable asset for Arc builds, particularly due to its Jolting Feedback perk, which is often the primary advantage sought with this weapon. This perk enables you to easily inflict Jolt on almost any enemy you hit, making Vantage Point a solid choice for maintaining the Amplified buff when utilizing an Arc or Prismatic subclass.

Keep Away is beneficial as well since you’re typically firing a pulse rifle from a distance, allowing you to enjoy its advantages nearly all the time. For those less focused on Arc synergy, alternatives like Stats for All and One For All are also effective, but the most optimal use of Vantage Point remains in maximizing the application of Jolt consistently.

Vantage Point may not be the best in PvE, but it still offers dependable performance in this context. For pulse rifles in the Crucible, range and stability are crucial stats to ensure your shots effectively reach targets, especially at a distance. Keep Away remains a solid option, as it provides buffs in numerous scenarios, while Headseeker enhances your precision damage. Additionally, Desperado can be beneficial, though it necessitates securing a kill, which is not a requirement for Headseeker.
