Arcade1Up has released numerous Pac-Man arcade cabinets over the years, but its latest full-size edition may just be the most exciting yet. Unveiled on October 8, the Arcade1Up Limited-Edition Pac-Man Plus Deluxe Cabinet is now available for purchase on Amazon. Given that this cabinet is marketed as a “limited edition,” it’s likely that once Amazon runs out of stock, it will no longer be available.

If space is an issue for the Pac-Man Plus Deluxe Cabinet or if you’re looking for a more budget-friendly option to enjoy Pac-Man, Arcade1Up has just introduced a new Ms. Pac-Man and Galaga Countercade. While both machines are currently available, Amazon estimates that orders may not be delivered until November 19.

This cabinet showcases a bold wood panel-inspired design that brings an unmistakable retro vibe. It embraces a more minimalist aesthetic compared to the typical Arcade1Up cabinet, yet it features a captivating wrap-around scene depicting ghosts in pursuit of the hungry Pac-Man, complemented by an RGB light strip underneath that creates a stunning under-glow effect.

Enhancing its authentic appearance are the faux molded coin door and the light-up marquee highlighting Pac-Man Plus as an “Exciting New” version of the beloved classic. Additionally, it includes a faux-molded coin door for further detail.

The control panel is equipped with a realistic joystick, six buttons, and switches for power and volume control. In line with other Deluxe cabinets from Arcade1Up, the Pac-Man Plus boasts a 17-inch display, a dual speaker system, and measures 61 inches tall (a little over five feet) without requiring an extra riser.

Take a look at the games featured on the Pac-Man Plus Deluxe Cabinet:

You can sync your scores online to a global leaderboard and compare your performance with other players. Unfortunately, Ms. Pac-Man is not included, but fans of Ms. Pac-Man should definitely check out the countercade described below.

The Arcade1Up Class of ’81 Countercade features a 7-inch LCD screen, full-size arcade controls, and a stylish design adorned with retro Ms. Pac-Man and Galaga artwork. This officially licensed tabletop arcade machine can be powered either by AA batteries or via Micro USB. It includes three games:

While some Arcade1Up Pac-Man cabinets are no longer in production, you can still find a few standing cabinets available. These include the full-size Class of ’81, a traditional Pac-Man Deluxe Cabinet showcasing a vibrant yellow color scheme, and a machine inspired by Pac-Mania. Both the Pac-Mania and yellow Pac-Man machines offer the same 14 games available with the Pac-Man Limited Edition. The Class of ’81 cabinet, however, is the perfect choice for Ms. Pac-Man enthusiasts.

If you appreciate all the designs, the Pac-Mania-themed model presents the most economical option. On Amazon, the Arcade1Up Pac-Mania machine is currently available for $362, down from its original price of $500. Additionally, it includes 100 bonus stickers.

If you’re interested in a countercade experience but prefer not to limit yourself to only a few games, Blaze Entertainment’s Evercade Alpha is set to launch on November 28. It will be available in two versions: Street Fighter and Mega Man. Each countercade includes six games developed by Capcom, but the real highlight is its compatibility with 60-plus Evercade cartridge compilations, which feature a range of classic arcade, console, and handheld games priced between $20 and $25 each. Stay tuned for our forthcoming review of the Evercade Alpha; it’s a very impressive and adaptable device.

By preordering the Evercade Alpha, you can enjoy a discount of $20 off its retail price of $250.
