Death Stranding 2: On The Beach Set to Launch in June!

Sony and Kojima Productions have unveiled that Death Stranding 2: On The Beach will be released on June 26, 2025, for PS5, priced at $70. Preorders will commence on March 17.

A new 10-minute cinematic trailer has been released, featuring an original song titled "To the Wilder" by Woodkid. The trailer highlights actors such as Norman Reedus, Lea Seydoux, Troy Baker, and Elle Fanning, among others, portraying various characters in the game. At the conclusion of the trailer, it hints at a thematic exploration of America’s gun culture, referencing the United States as a significant influence on the narrative.

Preorder bonuses for Death Stranding 2 include early access to the Quokka custom hologram and three Silver Skeletons: Battle, Boost, and Bokka, which enhance the protagonist Sam Bridges’ abilities.

The Digital Deluxe Edition, which costs $80, includes 48-hour early access, the Gold version of the Skeletons, an early unlock for the Level 1 MP Bullet Machine Gun, and collectible patches. For fans seeking a more collectible option, the Collector’s Edition priced at $230 comes with the Deluxe Edition contents, a 15" Magellan Man Statue, a 3" Dollman figurine, art cards, and a letter from Hideo Kojima, all presented in a collector’s box. However, this edition does not include a physical game copy.

Following the release of Death Stranding 2, Kojima Productions will shift focus to upcoming projects OD and Physint, which were impacted by the recent SAG-AFTRA strike.
