Dive into the Excitement: Hello Neighbor 3 Playtest Now Available!

TinyBuild is reviving the eerie adventure of Raven Brooks with the release of an open playtest for Hello Neighbor 3. This new version invites players back to explore the half-abandoned town, with an emphasis on both adventure and survival as they navigate challenges and uncover secrets.

The playtest was shared in a video by lead developer Nikita Kolesnikov, who highlighted the enhancements made in this iteration, including a redesigned map that aligns better with the creators’ vision. Players will roam through various houses in Raven Brooks, searching for useful items and ultimately trying to escape before an impending storm arrives. However, players must tread carefully, as some homes are occupied, and residents may not welcome unsanctioned visitors.

One of the game’s core tenets is its system-based world, allowing for multiple approaches to overcoming obstacles. Players can choose between strategy styles—whether that be stealth, agility, force, or even negotiation. Raven Brooks offers a reactive sandbox experience where its inhabitants live their lives, only reacting to player actions when disturbed, which can lead to new pathways within the game.

For those interested in participating in the test, access requests can be made on the Hello Neighbor 3’s Steam page.

Despite the first Hello Neighbor game facing a lukewarm reception from critics, TinyBuild has successfully expanded the franchise with sequels, spin-offs, literature, and an animated series, solidifying Hello Neighbor as a notable name in the gaming landscape.
