Dave Bautista and Stray Writer Join Forces for Exciting Cat Assassin Stealth-Action Game!

Former WWE wrestler Dave Bautista is entering the video game industry as a producer, teaming up with Titan1Studios to launch "Cat Assassin." This initiative aims to create a multimedia franchise that includes not only a new video game but also plans for an animated series and a feature film.

"Cat Assassin," a creation of Steve Lerner, the writer behind the acclaimed indie game "Stray," centers around a character named Hugh. Unlike the charming cat from "Stray," Hugh is a more ruthless figure—an assassin navigating a chaotic landscape dominated by warring cartels and corrupt leaders. While Bautista’s role as an actor in the project hasn’t been confirmed, his production company, Dogbone Entertainment, is heavily involved in bringing the project to life.

Set in a "neo-noir city" filled with anthropomorphic cats, the game will blend stealth-action gameplay with dark humor—drawing inspiration from titles like Assassin’s Creed, Splinter Cell, and Sifu. Details regarding the franchise and the game’s release remain sparse, but Bautista’s foray into video games builds on his established acting career, which includes his well-known role as Drax the Destroyer in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

In addition to "Cat Assassin," Bautista has expressed a desire to portray Marcus Fenix in the Netflix adaptation of "Gears of War.
