At last, Titan Quest 2 is now available in early access on PC, and developer Grimlore Games has announced that it plans to deliver significant content updates every three months as it prepares for the full launch. Although multiplayer features are not yet included, they are on the way.
Players can look forward to new chapters featuring fresh areas, enemies, and challenges, along with the introduction of a character editor. Furthermore, a brand-new Mastery will enhance gameplay, and support for additional languages is in development.
Upcoming updates will introduce:
- New chapters
- New items
- New enemies
- New bosses
- New quests
- New Masteries
- Crafting
- Improved multiplayer functionality
During a recent FAQ video, lead systems designer Balint Marczin revealed that the team aims for a full release by the end of 2026. Plans to transition Titan Quest 2 to PlayStation and Xbox consoles after early access are also in the works. However, the developers confirmed there will be no mounts available as they could disrupt the game’s pacing and mechanics, and there are currently no PvP options planned. The focus for the endgame experience is on providing a polished and replayable campaign, with some design work underway for endgame content.
The announcement of Titan Quest 2’s early access was made as part of the August THQ Showcase, which also revealed other titles, including a new teaser for Darksiders 4 and SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide.
