Neterra, a multinational telecommunications company based in Bulgaria, is growing its presence in the Asia Pacific area. With the establishment of Neterra APAC, a subsidiary, the company has installed its infrastructure at the Equinix SG1 data center in Singapore. The new facility is now part of Neterra’s existing network, which consists of more than 220 points of presence (PoPs) on a global scale.
A direct connection has been established between the new facility and Neterra’s point of presence in Marseille, which would act as a hub for innovation and customer-oriented solutions. Additionally, through this new hub location, Neterra will be able to deliver all of the connectivity services that are offered by its subsidiary, the worldwide Internet Exchange, NetIX.
Dean Belev, Senior Product Manager for Connectivity and NetIX at Neterra, stated, “We’re excited to bring our exceptional services to the dynamic market of Singapore. This exciting expansion aligns with Neterra’s dedication to meeting the evolving needs of its diverse clientele. This strategic move reinforces our commitment to providing our valued customers with first-class solutions and to growing our global footprint.”
For Neterra and the businesses that are linked with it, the expansion to Singapore is a natural progression. In addition to gaining clients and recognition in the field of telecommunications, they have been witnessing sustainable growth in both their financial and business operations, as well as the development and introduction of new products and services.
Neterra provides a wide array of telecommunications services, including data center services, cloud solutions, and distributed denial of service (DDoS) prevention, among others. It also provides streaming services via its Neterra.TV platform and has made significant strides in industries such as finance, insurance, and media and broadcasting.
The organization holds several certifications including ISO 9001, ISO 27001, ISO 20000, ISO 27701, and PCI DSS, indicating its commitment to upholding international standards.
At the Capacity Global Carrier Awards in 2023, Neterra received the award for ‘The Best Central & Eastern European Carrier 2023’. Additionally, NetIX won the ‘Best Peering Provider of the Year 2023’ at the annual Global Carrier Community Awards. Both awards were given in 2023’s second half.
