First Look: Monster Hunter Wilds’ Exciting New Gameplay Trailer Revealed at Summer Game Fest

The next entry in the Monster Hunter universe is scheduled to release in 2024.

A new trailer for Monster Hunter Wilds was revealed as a part of 2024’s Summer Game Fest. The new trailer blends gameplay with stunning cinematics, giving players a closer look at what the next entry in the popular action-RPG series holds in top>.

Prominently featured in the trailer are a desert biome–complete with a Dune-esque sandworm, albeit much smaller–and a cold plain outside of a village. This time around, monsters seem even more powerful, boasting lasers and brutal attacks.

Monster Hunter Wilds is set to launch for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in 2025.
