Civilization 7 made a splash at Gamescom with a new gameplay trailer and announced its release for February 11, 2025. While waiting for this highly anticipated sequel, you might enjoy reading Sid Meier’s Memoir: A Life in Computer Games. The book, penned by the legend himself alongside Jennifer Noonan, is an excellent choice for Civilization fans.
Released in 2020 by W.W. Norton, Sid Meier’s Memoir spans 304 pages detailing the four decades of Meier’s impactful career in the gaming industry, from founding his studio, MicroProse, to creating beloved games such as Civilization, Pirates, and Railroad Tycoon. The memoir is available in several formats including hardcover, paperback, Kindle, and audiobook.
