Over two years have passed since Dotemu released Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge, a game that pays homage to the classic Konami’s TMNT arcade games. The latest DLC, named Radical Reptiles, features the return of Mona Lisa and Mondo Gecko, characters beloved by fans of the series.
Mona Lisa, initially a human, was transformed into a mutant salamander after being exposed to a nuclear reactor in the first TMNT cartoon that debuted in 1987. Mondo Gecko, on the other hand, was a regular gecko before his mutation into a humanoid creature. Although he first sided with the villainous Mr. X, Mondo Gecko later reformed and became an ally of the TMNT.
The game is also getting a new remixed original soundtrack from Tomoya Tomita, Keiji Yamagishi, Jake Kaufman, Sean Bialo, Anamanaguchi, and Button Masher. That updated soundtrack will be available as a free update for all players.
On the PlayStation Blog, it was confirmed that Radical Reptiles will be the final DLC for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge. In the developers’ farewell message, they wrote that, “The team is proud of this project and excited to see how players will enjoy the new characters.”
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s – Revenge Radicals is out now on all consoles and PC.
