A new report indicates that Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time is set to release not only for the Nintendo Switch but also for the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. Initially announced for the Switch by Level 5 in 2023, the game was delayed to April of this year.
The source for this revelation, Video Games Chronicle, highlighted that a PlayStation Store page listed the release date for the PS4 and PS5 versions as April 23 (or April 24, depending on time zones). This page was quickly taken down, but a screenshot was captured by Gematsu.
Originally announced as a role-playing life simulation game, Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time introduces a time travel mechanic. This allows players to customize a desolate island by journeying back a thousand years, affecting the game’s present and future landscapes. Players can choose from up to 14 different career paths, including farmer and artist.
In addition to Fantasy Life, Level 5 has plans for two more upcoming titles: Professor Layton and The New World of Steam and Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road, with another title, Decapolice, expected in 2026.
