Pokémon GO Fest 2024: Paris Set to Host This Summer’s Exciting Event!

Niantic has announced that Pokémon Go Fest is coming to Paris, France, from June 13-15, inviting trainers globally to join the fun. The event will take place in Parc de Sceaux, providing a scenic backdrop for players. Early bird tickets are available starting March 6, with prices increasing on April 2.

At this year’s festival, attendees will experience the Pokémon Go debut of Volcanion. Participants with a ticket will have access to special research opportunities focused on this creature. Additionally, players will be among the first to encounter the new forms of Crowned Sword Zacian and Crowned Shield Zamazenta during exclusive Five Star Raids.

In line with previous Pokémon Go Fest events, Niantic will offer a curated route through Paris, allowing trainers to explore iconic landmarks while seeking elusive Pokémon. The event will also include real-life Pokémon habitats, PVP battles, and opportunities to purchase exclusive merchandise.

Lena Cillis, Pokémon Go Live Events Marketing Manager, expressed excitement about the event, highlighting Paris’s charm and walkability as perfect for exploring with the Pokémon Go community.

Prior to the Paris event, Pokémon Go Fest will take place in Osaka, Japan, from May 29 to June 1, followed by Jersey City, New Jersey, from June 6 to 8. After the Paris fest, there will be a Pokémon Go Fest Global event on June 28-29.

For those looking for activities in March, Niantic has outlined various upcoming Pokémon Go events and challenges. Meanwhile, The Pokémon Company’s CEO, Tsunekazu Ishihara, has indicated potential concerns about the franchise’s direction, though current evidence suggests it remains strong, particularly with the upcoming launch of Pokémon Legends Z-A.
