This was a 5% decrease from the previous week’s total of 447 outages. In the United States alone, there were 199 outages, reflecting a 5% increase from the week prior.

The outage, occurring during a two-hour window, lasted over an hour. It affected nodes initially in Toronto, Canada, and Cleveland, Ohio, before spreading to other areas including New York and Los Angeles. The incident was resolved after a complex series of outages across various locations.

Arelion Outage on March 5: Arelion, a Tier 1 provider, faced an outage affecting multiple regions including the U.S., Japan, and Europe. The 35-minute disruption originated from nodes in Ashburn, Virginia, with impacts escalating as more nodes experienced issues.
