EA and Battlefield Studios have recently announced the performance specifications for the upcoming Battlefield 6 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, outlining what players can expect in terms of resolution and frame rates.
The game will come with Fidelity and Performance modes on PS5 and Xbox Series X, but the Xbox Series S will have a maximum resolution without alternate graphics options.
In Fidelity mode, both the Xbox Series X and PS5 will support a maximum resolution of 1440p and aim for 60fps. Conversely, Performance mode on the Xbox Series X can reach a maximum resolution of 1280p with a target of 80fps, and this is also true for the PS5.
The PS5 Pro enhances this experience further, offering 2160p at 60fps in Fidelity mode and 1620p at 80fps in Performance mode. These values are maximum targets, and actual performance may vary based on scenario.
On PC, Battlefield 6 can reach impressive specs of 2160/4K resolution and 144fps, depending on the hardware capabilities.
Release Information: Battlefield 6 is set to launch on October 10 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. Additionally, a battle royale mode is confirmed to be in development.
