Hackers Expose Personal Information of ICE, DHS, DOJ, and FBI Officials: What You Need to Know

In a shocking revelation, a collective of hackers known as "the Com" has leaked sensitive information pertaining to numerous federal officials from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the FBI, and the Department of Justice (DOJ). This incident signifies a major breach, as hackers shared personal details of hundreds of officials on Telegram, including names, email addresses, phone numbers, and home addresses.

Hackers Target Federal Officials

The released data reportedly includes information for 680 DHS officials, 170 FBI officials, and 190 DOJ officials. The hacker taunted that they demanded a million dollars for the doxed data, referencing purported bounties placed by Mexican cartels for identifying federal agents.

In a related security incident, reports surfaced about a covert FBI task force set up to disrupt ransomware operations in Russia, known as Group 78.
