Constructing a Gundam model is a deeply satisfying endeavor but for those who’d rather not commit to the many hours it requires, a digital alternative exists: Gundam Breaker 4. This game allows you to piece together your ultimate mobile suit, then pilot it into combat once completed. The game is available for preorder, ahead of its August 29 release across PC, PS4, PS5, and the Nintendo Switch. The game can be ordered from multiple retailers, such as Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, Target, and GameStop.

Purchasers of the Gundam Breaker 4 launch edition will receive a bonus poster and a reversible box art, along with digital extras such as additional builder’s parts and early access to the RX-78 Gundam Recirculation color palette. However, be aware “launch editions” may sell out before release, after which games typically revert to a standard edition sans the extras.

The latest Gundam Breaker sequel presents an impressive number of base kits on offer: a total of 250. Once you’ve chosen your base, you’re free to customize various elements of your build and even snatch missing parts from defeated foes in the game’s arena.

After finishing your customization, you can enhance your Gunpla model with different paint colors, weathering effects, and decals before showcasing it in the game’s diorama mode. Here, you’ll find an array of backgrounds and special effects to create amazing snapshots of your unique creation.

Or take your custom Gunpla through a variety of intense missions in online or single-player modes. To sum it up in three words, break, build, and battle your way to victory. Some of the Gundam models teased for the game include some of the all-time greats, like Strike Freedom, Victory, and RX-78 Gundams.

As an added bonus, you won’t need to worry about cleaning up tiny pieces of plastic debris or figuring out where you’re going to store your Gunpla models when you’re done playing with them.
