Earlier this month, Future Press released an enhanced edition of its well-received official Bloodborne strategy guidebook, which is rapidly approaching a sell-out status, with Amazon’s delivery estimates extending to November 19 as of October 22. The guide is already out of stock on Future Press’s website, prompting fans to consider purchasing it soon.
The Bloodborne Complete Edition Guide features a hefty 744 pages, approximately 200 pages more than the 2017 Collector’s Edition Guide. This increase in pages is due to the Complete Edition’s inclusion of The Old Hunters expansion, which was originally accompanied by its own 224-page physical guide back in 2015. The guide offers comprehensive information to fully complete both the base game and its DLC, alongside concept art, an in-depth exploration of the lore surrounding Yharna, an interview with director Hidetaka Miyazaki, and a reference index detailing in-game lore.
In today’s market, physical guidebooks are becoming increasingly rare, often turning into collector’s items. Previous versions of this guide have commanded outrageous prices on eBay, and it’s likely that this new edition will see similar inflation in value soon. However, From Software remains one of the few gaming studios that frequently partners with publishing houses to produce guides. Just last year, Future Press issued an official guide for the return of Armored Core, and fortunately, the Armored Core 6 Pilot’s Manual is still available at its standard price. Conversely, the first two volumes of the Elden Ring’s Books of Knowledge series have been sold out for several months. Nevertheless, interested readers can still preorder Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree’s official guide at a nice discount on Amazon in anticipation of its October 31 release.

The celebration mentioned is for Future Press, which also labeled the reissue of the Dark Souls Trilogy Compendium as a 25th Anniversary Edition when it launched earlier this year.
