Path of Exile 2 has launched into early access, offering a wealth of content, including a main story campaign, side bosses, and extensive endgame options. Players can expect to invest a significant amount of time exploring the game’s plethora of initial quests.
Time to Beat Path of Exile 2
As a typical action role-playing game (ARPG), Path of Exile 2 doesn’t have a definitive end. However, you can roughly define "beating" the game as reaching the endgame after completing all the campaign acts. Currently, players must complete three acts to access the endgame, which will expand to six in the final release.
To successfully progress, players first need to complete the three acts on standard difficulty, having their character reach level 45. Next, they must tackle those acts again on Cruel difficulty to finally access the endgame, bringing their character to around level 65.
On average, completing the three acts for the first time will take about 25 hours. Repeating the process on Cruel difficulty may take an additional 15-20 hours, resulting in a total of 40-50 hours per character to reach the endgame. Playing as a different class will require players to undergo the same campaign journey again, thereby extending gameplay time to roughly 80-100 hours for those exploring multiple character types.
Upon reaching the endgame, players have the freedom to engage in an expansive array of activities, with the maximum level cap in early access set at level 100, though pushing past that might not be feasible at this stage.
